Power Media Player was built to be easy-to-use, light-weight and easily customizable by the user. Unlike most media players and applications for Windows, Power Media Player is small, and has an easily accessible GUI through which you can control the application.
The purpose behind this program is to remain freeware, add-free, and take input from the users, which will drive the project. Version 1.0 (The latest version), is the first version of this application and welcomes your feedback and input on features you would like to see in this program. As of now, the core of the program is done, and all further development will be done in plug-ins.
Power Media Player will support plug-ins, which will allow for packages to be added to the media player. This insures that the player itself stays light-weight, and the added features that each individual user would like can be added individually. While this isn’t complete as of yet, we hope to have a plug-in manager in version 1.1.

We have set up a mailing list for Power Media Player. Please send mail to:
pmp-subscribe (at) tds-solutions.net
Please make sure you replace (at) with the real @ sign. The email address above has been written so that spambots will find it a bit harder to get ahold of the mailing list address, and thus (hopefully) cut down on the spam.
Thanks go to everyone who has and/or will provide feedback.
Thanks also to CPPMan for the help either through viewing of code or advice on working with the Windows API.
